Lazar Petrov, Director “Financial Instruments and EU Operational Programmes” combines international experience in finance and technology. In his first years of professional development, he gained insights into corporate finance and investment management as part of business development teams of international organizations being settled in Germany and Spain.

Following this he spent several years as a project manager and management consultant with a focus on technological upgrade of financial institutions.

Lazar Petrov graduated from the University of Freiburg (Germany) with Master degree in Economics and specialization in financial analysis.

In August 2017, he took office as Director “Financial Instruments and EU Operational Programmes” of the Fund of Funds.
