Georgi Shopov

Chairman of the Managing Board of the National Association of Building Entrepreneurs

Georgi Shopov was born in 1972 in Sofia. In 1995 he graduated UACEG specialty PGS with excellent success. In the period until 2000 he worked as a freelance designer. In 2000, he founded the TOBO PROJECT. Currently, he is the managing owner of TOBO GROUP, which includes more than 12 companies specializing in design and construction. The Group has built over 35 residential cooperatives with over 1200 apartments, over 100 gas stations, lift facilities, hotels, and numerous public procurement projects for public and industrial buildings. The group manages 3 own hotels.
At present Mr.Shopov is Honorary Consul of Indonesia in Bulgaria, as well as Chairman of the Bulgarian-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is the co-chair of the Bulgarian Construction Trade Consortium. Since 2016 he has been chairman of the Managing Board of the National Association of Building Entrepreneurs.
